Jared Lunde : Jared lunde as the gay designer

There is so much talk in the industry about Jared Lunde announcing he is gay. Will this affect his career? Will it affect his client base? I don’t think so but time will tell.

What is important is the designs. That is what people should and will concentrate on.

Teen Logo Designer

Please note that given further information this post is now under review

It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to designing logos. I just don’t think that many come up to scratch. I guess part of that is being a designer myself. Anyway I am impressed this time.

I am impressed with a designer. You might say who cares but she is only 16 years old.

In our design community there are a lot of people with a lot of passion. We all know that. So it is nice to see this girl not only designing logos at a professional level but sharing that passion and doing her best to get other teenagers involved in design too.

While she is only 16 she is maturing and you can see that from her designs. She has even been receiving nice comments from top online designers. This is great for someone so young. She is starting to become more well known since her first site Julie Kapral and the Teen Design Blog.

There may be other great young designers out there but you need to keep your eye on this one. She will definitely be going places in the years to come. She doesn’t have to worry as her designs will do the selling for her.

T-Shirt Design Contest

Don’t you just hate it when people have fake contests? Well I mean that the contest is real but the reward is faked. You do your best to win and you do but then you end up with nothing. I hate that when it happens to me.

On a different note there is a T-Shirt Design Contest going on at the minute. I am not sure who will win it but it looks really promising at the minute.

I will let you know the outcome once it has all happened. I wish everyone involved a lot of luck with the contest and hope the best design wins in the end.
