Again and again, when will they learn? The now newly designed, newly named site BrandStock, no sorry that’s BrandStack… has managed to suck more than it’s predecessor, IncSpring. It’s not only made up of images, 95% of it is anyway, it also lost the few points incsprings designed had managed to scrape. Then they name it BrandStack (yes i linked to them, because I care)…excuse me while I ram my face into a blender. What were they thinking? You think the worst is over? No, you see BrandStock, or wait, is it BrandStack? Whatever it is called now, they have a logo that the owner previously bought off Incspring, the same site, try to keep up. Well that logo is just, well go look at it, please.

Incspring as we described down below looked like someone taking a dump, the new BrandStack logo has evolved, into, yes, wait for it, TOILET PAPER. Used toilet paper…They still have NOT addressed any of the issues that IncSpring had, if anything they have made matters worse.

Will this startup ever learn? I doubt it.

Bramndstock…urrr…Brandstack, give it up already.

Let’s not give him anything to try and sue us over shall we, but is he? Is Jon Engle of RelevantStudios.net a logo thief? One who tried to setup a fake legal fund to raise money for himself, one who was dubbed a plagiarist by many? Could he really be a logo thief? Well, you decide while I spread the word about this post ok? Remember, he claimed to have made all of these from scratch. BS if you ask me.

Now below are 2 logos he was accused of ripping also (in total there was close to a 100!!!!) now his are the ones to the right, originals are the ones to the left, belonging to StockArt.com designers. Now look at those, just look at this urrr…well he’s accused of being a thieving bastard but who knows right? We don’t want to go ahead and throw around accusations of our own and be in the line of fire, getting sued would blow ass, but hey, you can’t defame someone like Jon more than he already has himself right? ha. ha. ha.

I wont go on and on, let me just add that after going into hiding for a while he has reappeared, with a new set of balls. Jon Engle on twitter - @jonathanengle and his site www.jonengle.com now redirects to www.relevantstudio.net which is up and running.

Is he back for round two? Maybe he thinks he’s smart enough this time round? Hey Jon, listen up, you wont even make it through round two, you wont hear that bell, you’re going down. Because scammers, thieves like you, they don’t get second chances.

It’s the talk of the design industry, one designer by the name of Jared Lunde risks it all and comes out to announce he’s gay. Will this effect how his clients treat him? How potential clients view him? Will it effect how other designers in the industry treat him? only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, they guy has balls. Here’s a snippet from his site;

I’m Jared Lunde, and It’s time I admit to the design industry that I’m gay. It’s been tough living a lie, and I just can’t do it anymore. If my fellow designer friends are going to think less of me because I like Le Cock then so be it, but I want you all to know, I love you, and always will love you regardless of your sexuality. Below are some of my thoughts, a sort of diary, window into my life as a gay designer.

Some of the Best Logos online are without a doubt, mine. I know how that sounds, but a little arrogance goes a long way in the design industry, trust me. So to many logo designers this post will be taken wrong, only a few may ever get it’s real purpose but this is why, I think my logos are among the best logos online today.

These ones are also among my best logo designs that received the most appreciation from the clients. I guess I did so well a job in their opinion (the only opinion that really matters is your clients) that they both have decided to keep in touch with me since.

They’re unique, one of a kind and for the most part, logo designs no one could have thought of but me, then again most logo designs done by talented designers these days are very much the same way, except their stuff is no where near as funky or unique as my work, because I obviously make the best logos online, which in a way makes me one of the best logo designers out there. Hate me yet?

Ego or not, I guess showcasing some of my work in this blog post might help prove that my logos really are some of the best logos ever made, they absolutely rock and I’m not tooting my own horn, well I am, but I mean come on, look at my work! Aren’t they the best logos you’ve ever seen or what?

These 2 logos are among my best logos to have gained acceptance in the design industry and logo designs in general seem to like these concepts.

I’m rarely impressed when it comes to graphic and logo design, but this time it’s different. Now i know what a lot of people have been saying about this young girl, they’re saying;

So what’s the deal, she’s 16years old, and into design, who cares?

The design community care, people who are still passionate about what they do care. This girl, at 16 years old is not only designing logos at a professional level, she’s also doing everything in her power to spread the word among other teenagers, that if they want, they can do it too. So she’s not only bettering herself in all this but trying to help others, at just 16.  That’s the deal.

The girl is obviously mature for her age, although at times she may act like she’s just 16, which is ok, because she is! Her designs speak for themselves, mastering such raw talent at such a young age, she has received praise from some of the top logo designers online, she’s starting to get feature slots on many sites and all this in the past couple days when she designed and developed her first site Julie Kapral and her Teen Design Blog.

Some may argue that there are younger designers out there, some just as good as Julie, but if you take the time to look at those designers and Julie you’ll see that she has this passion like nothing I’ve seen before, not even in someone excited about what they do. It comes as natural to her and with her first paying client just a few days ago, you can tell this Teen Logo Designer is on a role, and what a role it is going to be.

Keep your eye on her, she’s going places.

 What a fake contest. I was named the winner of the below fake contest and then not awarded anything, I send the contest starter a PM with my paypal ID and nothing. Some forum that is, they don’t have anyway of protecting us designers, I think it’s appalling. If they’re to hold a contest forum they should add the necessary software, take payment from end user, when winner is selected forward it to winner, take a slice of the pie, that’s how professionals do it. Not like this fake contest forum at V7N.

Recently I joined the V7N Forums. I got to know old friends and met a few new ones in a very short period of time, the community there is by far one of the friendliest I have ever been on. Although it lacks a professional presence and those with knowledge on there could probably be counted on one hand, it’s looking bright as mods and admins are gearing towards a change, a big change I have been told.

I have been reading up on some topics, although few in number some are rather informative, and then I ran into a new contest. It was a T-Shirt Design Contest and after reading the topic starters post, I decided to join and test peoples art abilities on these forums. My entry did not take time to finish and the concept pretty much hit me in the face, it was not at all hard or thought provoking, rather simple, it’s message too was direct and to the point.

The contest is still open and I’m not sure if i’ll win, so far there has been 4 or 5 design entries including mine with a few people working on it still, so who knows. I do hope I win as the prize is $300, and even though to some that’s not a lot, for me it’s a good month worth of living.
