Photography editing is always fun, it’s always exciting to take an amazing photo and turn it into something creative. A client sent me 20 such high quality professional photos to edit and retouch. Adding effects, from snow, powder, night, light, rain, fire and also digitizing some aspects of the photos, at times turning a face into a hand drawn sketch. Something like this always takes creativity and a lot of attention to detail.

I added a sample to show you what I have been up to today. The above sample I added a powder/snow effect to as required by the photographer. I then went onto giving the model a pastel like hair style, almost anim like. This photo took me 1 hour to do. A lot of detail went into, not only the model, as in hands and body to give the falling powdery effect but also the set in which she was photographed in.
A Silk Scissor manufacturer wanted a new logo for one of their new multi silk blade products. (oolala) Supposedly it cuts even fine strands of silk, I was told i would get a pair to check out, logo done and no scissors. not like I’d have had a use for them anyway.

This was a challenge, it took me almost 3 hours of random sketching and then about 4 hours to implement. I was on a tight schedule to get this one done but as yu can see, the outcome was a good one. I created the scissor like vector graphic based on a photo they sent me, it’s simply showing the concept of several fine blades used to cut delicate silk.
While designing this logo, I did not want to focus on the logo, as much as the idea behind it. Silk, fine trimmed and precise, for a tool with so many blades, I managed to make it look like a delicate cutting tool.
Recently I took on a role in an animation project for the site www.dnscammers.com

I was asked to design the [dot] in dnscammers[dot]com and their animation team worked on the animated version of my logo. You can see my logo in their splash page preview here.
The design work took around 4 hours, it works on both dark and light colored backgrounds. It was based off a black marble concept with 2 glass equator like striped running around each ‘pole’.
