Michael Kane, and his car console post made me think a lot about cleaning up my none existent car. I promise mike when I get my first car I will by that cool autobin car concole car trash thing, it looks great and i agree with mike, makes car seem so much cleaner.

Anyway this also gave me a logo idea for a new client of mine who is a big pain in the ass and im trying to finish the logo off as Mike asked me to take on long term contracts with him on an AMAZING new project, you will all know of it soon, it will be SO HUGE i am so honored he would let me in on it. Anyway, as for logo, this is what I came up with;

Not amazing but it first draft, tomorrow I send him finished version and hope he likes it. Client wanted a icon/logo/symbol that screams out I love Recycling. What better way than with a heart shaped recycle symbol. Unique I think and memorable. Let’s hope he likes finished version so i can focus more on the new HUGE HUGE project!

So Black Fish designs are not that common, fish logo’s actually are not that common, i think it’s because the shape of the fish is hard to implement in a cool way. I call this design the BlackHat Fish. It’s a logo, and a concept that I think would be great as a BlackHat Blogs logo or a forums logo perhaps. Maybe I should Message QuadsZilla or Eli or someone about the concept, they might like it enough to honor me by using it as their own, maybe not!

So how did I come up with this idea, well I didn’t, it just hit me! In the face! It’s simple, concept is origamy, which to me should give the feeling of patience, simplicity, complexity too, a calm and collected logo. Creative and unique, just something out there.

I always like to flip through magazines, check out photo galleries, read ebooks, comics, anything and everything that could inspire me, it’s all about inspiration.

BlackHat Fish is, to me anyway, the process of playing with content in a way that it does not stink of spam, but is so full of shit that it knocks a bot out before it even gets crawled. Still it’s not fool proof, as there is no doubt Google is developing a way to detect the process I have just slightly described. In fact I would not be surprised whatsoever if they already have an ‘anti-algo’ to somewhat suppress the virtual mass of dupe/spam content filling up the internet and the Google index, at such a staggering rate!

In fact, if they don’t have one, they better get one soon as, to them, the problem has to be considered very dangerous. Imagine a scenario where, with the development of its revolutionary ‘relevance’ technology both in serving ads and in indexing the web as a whole, Google, now fattened from it’s billion dollar profits sits idly by and watches as it’s search engine becomes, well, irrelevant!

Not likely. But if it was to happen to the darling of today’s internet, it would be remembered as nothing short of a Shakespearean blunder on the grandest scale. We BlackHat Fish are innovators in our own right, we are the greatest.

These are without a doubt some of my favorites and are download worthy, so download them! It takes a lot of hard work to create a simple wordpress theme, it’s a million times harder to create one of the below themes! Works of art, absolute beauty

A three column work of art. illacrimo is elegant, modern and well designed. Functional, simple but presents bloggers with a powerful professional impact for their blog readers.

Whalesalad is one of those wordpress themes that screams to be used. It’s a dark theme but colors don’t clash, I’ve had some hardcore light colored blog theme lovers swear by this one, which is praise enough i’m sure.

JsTheme bashes heads with it’s sleek, professional cool blue design. Great for pretty much any blog, it’s a 2 column block of ice, cool and a very solid design.

Grab a mug of coffe and sit back, relax, because this template is just one calm, slick thme. Yoghourt is it’s name, although I don’t agree with the name, the wordpress blog theme speaks for itself. Great colors, wonderful 2 column setup and lovely nips and tucks to the style sheet.

3 column templates don’t get hotter than this. Nothing I can say to explain how sexy this wordpress them is, you have to download it and check it out for your self! Do it now!

Minimal to an extent, not my favorite but i’ve got to give this blog theme props, it’s stands out with it’s unique design and simple layout. It’s functional and can be used in many ways that’s for sure, although not my cup of tea I give it 2 thumbs up!

farfromfearless, this designer is one of my favorites, his wp blog theme is also one of them. Green is one of my favorite colors, but this template does it all. Very well cooked up, well designed and very functional, 2 column wordpress template I would recomend to just about anyone!

Recently I took on a role in an animation project for the site www.dnscammers.com

I was asked to design the [dot] in dnscammers[dot]com and their animation team worked on the animated version of my logo. You can see my logo in their splash page preview here.

The design work took around 4 hours, it works on both dark and light colored backgrounds. It was based off a black marble concept with 2 glass equator like striped running around each ‘pole’.
